This timely book is highly recommended for readers 9 and up. While these novels stand out for what we might call their socialist tendencies, most children’s literature promotes values on. This isn't a children's book.
It's more like an adult book and you can read little short vignettes to the kids. And yes, it's about as radical as they come; a bit more Bolshevik socialism than I expected.
